I am sad. Alex Rodriguez is one month younger than me. | | |
| Korean snacks will always be a mystery to me. I love 'em, yet am afraid to 'em. Ellie picked out a snack from the Korean grocery store a few days ago. I opened them up, they are small, round cookies filled with "chocolate". I looked at the ingredients...oddly, chocolate is not listed...not even cocoa powder. | | |
| I'm finally standing on my own two feet! Meaning, ankle is better. I've also joined a fantasy baseball league with my brother-in-law. This should be interesting since similarily to college basketball, I have no clue which players to add to my roster. The only guys I recognize are Yankees. I know..."HIIssss! Booo!" Nutella is to die for! | | |
| Flashlight Eyes!I rented a Veggie Tales movie for Ellie through Netflix...Lord of the Beans...it's their version of Lord of the Rings, except the story is about gifts, according to Jae. I have not seen the movie. Ellie was excited to see it, then in the middle of the movie, Ellie ran to me (I was in Kate's room changing her) and said, "I'm scared." "It's Veggie Tales. There's nothing to be scared of." "But I'm scared of the spoons." "The spoons?" "They have flashlight eyes." I guess the spoons were supposed to be the dead kings of the past. I hope she will like The Muppets first season. I love The Muppets. | | |
| Alrighty...been busy watching movies I've rented. Supersize Me. It didn't affect me the way people said it would. McDonald's is not good for you...hmmm...what else is new? So are a lot of things. What would happen if I decided to eat nothing but potato chips and ice cream for every meal? Should I sue Breyers and Ruffles and call them "evil" for preying on the young and causing my kids to get fat and get serious health problems? It's that question in the beginning that struck me...it went something like, where does personal choice end and corporate responsibility begin? Ok...off my soap-box. Also just finished watching Million Dollar Baby. If you haven't watched it, watch it. Any movie that makes me think and/or cry is a great movie. Next on the list...The Baby Human and Lord of the Beans...sigh...a break from controversial films. | | |
